Mineral Waters More than 77 thermal springs are concentrated in Velingrad. Their temperature is 22oC-100oC and the total capacity - 150-160 liters/sec which is 14.8% from the main water-sources in the country. The springs are classified into separate thermal groups and are located in the three housing estates of Velingrad- Ludzhene, Kamenitsa and Chepino. The water-feeding bas in of Velingrad is of a silitic type. Almost the whole hydro-geo-chemical range of the silitic mineral water springs, concentrated on a small territory, is presented in it. The place is a unique lay of the hand. On one hand it is near the town centre and on the other-it is at the end of the residential area where from a pine forest spreads out. To the north and to the east it overlooks the town while to the south and to the west-the high mountains surrounding the resort town. Every year symposiums and conferences are held in the complex, anniversaries and national holidays are celebrated. Many famous singers, actors and musicians have been guest performers. Famous personalities and politicians have stayed at that places. It is visited by about 15 000-20 000 people annually. Residential part The building is four-storeyed with a flexible under-roof space. It is designed in an architectural style – specific for Velingrad and the region combining the traditional Buulgarian mountainous architecture with the modern construction and design. Modern construction materials are used supplemented with wood, stone and the mild colours of the woodwork and outside plaster. The construction is extremely luxurious, solid, steel-concrete, with hydro and heating-isolation, PVC woodwork and two hydraulic elevators. In the residential part there are 83 apartmens – 45 m2 - 75 m2 meters, as well as, 20 studios – 21 m2 - 30 m2 meters. They are inhabitable all year-round. They are also luxurious and totally completed. All apartments are provided with mineral water, there is separate convector heating and individual electricity accounting. The apartments are spacious. They have separate terraces, exposed to the south, east and west overlooking the beautiful mountain and the town, which is favoured by the location and the exposure of the building. Each apartment consists of: a bedroom, a living-room with a kitchen, a bathroom and a lavatory, a corridor and a terrace. The bedroom and the living-room are provided with a satellite and internet connection, a fire-alarm installation and a telephone. The floor covering is laminated parquet, the doors are solid. The bathroom is tiled and equipped with, a bath-tub – dzhakuzi type and accessories. The floor is tiled too. There is a boiler and a vent. The floor in the corridor is tiled and there is a built-in wardrobe. The terraces are successfully combined with the faзade of the building. They are panelled and revetted. The studios have separate terraces or no terraces at all. Therefore they are different in size. Each studio consists of a bedroom and a bathroom with a lavatory. The bedroom has a satellite and internet connection, a fire-alarm installation and a telephone. The floor covering is laminated parquet and the doors are solid. In the process of constriction some changes, consistent with the architecture design of the building can be made. The apartments and studios are designed in such a way that eventually an individual gas system can be installed. Customers may choose the furniture according to their individual tastes. Preferential offers are presented to the best Bulgarian and foreign companies. The park with the green places and the indoor green decorative plants are attractively arranged and beautifully combined with the surrounding environment. Each place of the complex is designed so as to be comfortable and luxurious. MODIFICATIONS AND ADDITIONS The flexible constructional system of the building, based on steel-concrete, bearing elements and internal not-bearing walls (barring) with a high rate of collection and lack of drenched processes, as well as, an orthogonal constructional system О with axes – crossing each other at 900 enables during the building process to be done modifications and additions, consisted with the architectural and constructional parameters of the building. There are different versions of functional zoning inside the apartments and studios are also possible, with a possibility of pulsations of the dimensions of the elements of the residential units. The apartments can be with a separate lavatory and without a separate lavatory, as at the place of the lavatory can be built a dry store-premise for clothes, sport-devices or for other purposes. The apartments can be with a passing living-room (a vestibule type) or individual. The corridor in the apartments can be decreased or increased for the advantage of the sleeping-room or living-room. Each of the apartment can be differentiated into two totally separate and individual studios, as each studio can be consisted of an individual entrance, an individual corridor, an individual bathroom with a lavatory, an individual sleeping-room – a living-room. In the studio can be installed a mini-kitchen box and in this way the premises to be transformed from a group “day” into a group “night”. Internal el. installations – switches (wall-plugs) and wall lamps can be changed as number, design and location. The places of bathroom batteries also can be replaced in accordance with customer’s wishes. Floor coverings (laminated parquet and terracotta) as well as, doors and sanitary equipment of bathrooms also can be modified in accordance with the customer’s wishes. All modifications and additions of the apartments have to be preliminary agreed with the investor and to be stated down in the preliminary contract for purchase of the apartments or in the notary act for a given right for building; All modifications and additions, mentioned above can be realized until finishing the rough construction (September 2005), before completing works. SPA-centre The SPA-centre is provided with mineral water, and is stylishly equipped with the latest appliances of the present balneology. It corresponds to the standards of the European Union and it is built in accordance with the requirements of the West European balneology. The SPA-centre disposes of: A therapy and diagnosis sector (comprises of offices for functional diagnosis and clinical laboratory. It is equipped with all the necessary appliances and apparatures: an electrocardiograph and echography apparatus, an apparatus for biochemical blood analysis, a tonometer, a veloergometry apparatus, a centrofuge, a microscope, etc.); a balneo-therapy sector (hydro and aero massage bath-tubs, a Vichy shower, Sharco shower, Cleopatra bath-tub, a pearl bath-tub, a therapy magnet bath-tub with chromo and music therapy); a sector for physio-therapy (ionoforeza, biopulsator, ultra-noise, D’Arsoval, solux, magnet impulse field and UVF); a sector for kinezo-therapy, aerobics and yoga; a covered swimming pool with an open place for sun-baths; a sauna; a steam bath; a Turkish bath; fitness with a spinning studio; massage rooms; a solarium; an open-air dzhakuzi.
